Four week course on an introduction to effective oil painting techniques.
The course will include how to prepare and create good foundations for painting, how to build layers of colour ( “ fat over lean technique”), working Alla Prima, Impasto and Scumbling. There will also be some work on effective composition.
The cost of the four sessions will be £80. Oil paint, prepared boards and low odour thinners will be provided. Tea & coffee will also be provided.
